On September 10, the Michigan Advanced Biofuels Coalition (MiABC) and Green Marine co-hosted “Biodiesel & the Great Lakes: Real-World Experience, Technical Insights, and Fueling Solutions.”
The webinar brought together biodiesel marketers, fuel suppliers, and Great Lakes vessel operators to share firsthand experiences using biodiesel in commercial marine applications. Industry experts discussed fuel quality and handling, engine compatibility, fueling solutions, emissions benefits, and practical considerations for successfully integrating biodiesel into marine operations.
The event built on the growing partnership between MiABC, Great Lakes Stakeholders, and Green Marine to advance sustainable, lower-carbon marine transportation across the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway.
