About MiABC
Formed by the Michigan Soybean Committee, the Michigan Advanced Biofuels Coalition (MiABC) provides resources to help interested parties in Michigan and beyond take full advantage of the benefits of using biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel as low-carbon, renewable alternatives to petroleum. By promoting use of renewable advanced biofuels, MiABC helps support energy security and improve air and environmental quality in our state.
Funding for MiABC comes from Michigan farmers through the soybean checkoff program.
Our Mission
MiABC is focused on increasing the adoption of domestic, high-quality biobased diesel fuels to support the health, environment, and energy security in Michigan.
Our Vision
The development of a robust advanced biofuels framework in Michigan will increase the financial viability of farmers, producers, equipment manufacturers, and end users in the state. The environmental benefits of reducing fossil fuel usage will positively impact the health of all Michigan residents. The reduction of greenhouse gases from using biofuels will contribute to the worldwide goal of reducing carbon emissions.
