U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins announced today that USDA is providing $7 million in payments to advanced biofuel producers across the country through the Advanced Biofuel Producer Payment Program, a component of the One Big Beautiful Bill. This round of funding is intended to boost the production of biofuels made from American-grown feedstocks.
“President Trump is supporting and expanding American biofuel production through bold programs like this one, securing our Nation’s energy dominance by investing in producers,” Secretary Rollins said. “This home-grown biofuel production results in lower prices at the pumps, creates jobs, and puts Farmers First.”
The Advanced Biofuel Producer Payment Program encourages increased output of advanced biofuels by providing payments to eligible producers for their completed advanced biofuel volumes. Payments are issued quarterly based on the actual quantity of eligible advanced biofuel produced during that period. Definitions for advanced biofuels are outlined in 7 CFR Part 4288 and 102. The Program Enrollment Period for this opportunity runs from Oct. 1, 2025, through Dec. 15, 2025.
Those interested in learning more about the program can contact their state’s Rural Development Energy Coordinator.
