Indiana Ag Policy Summit Coming To Columbus

As Indiana experiences unprecedented growth in advanced manufacturing, data centers, and other energy-intensive industries, demand on the state’s electric grid continues to rise. At the same time, expanding markets for biofuels are creating new opportunities for Indiana agriculture, making energy policy increasingly important to the future of Hoosier farmers.

These topics will take center stage during the Indiana Ag Policy Summit, taking place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, at The Commons in Columbus, Indiana. Hosted annually by the Indiana Soybean Alliance Membership & Policy Committee and the Indiana Corn Growers Association, the summit brings together farmers, policymakers, industry leaders, and energy experts to discuss the policies shaping Indiana agriculture.

The program will feature perspectives from state and federal policymakers, utility executives, agricultural leaders, and biofuels experts on issues ranging from electric grid reliability and utility regulation to renewable fuels, engine technology, and the future of transportation energy.

Highlights include keynote remarks from federal and state officials, panel discussions on Indiana’s evolving energy landscape, a conversation with the state’s top energy regulators, and sessions exploring how biofuels, next-generation engines, and emerging technologies can strengthen both Indiana agriculture and the state’s economy.

The summit also provides attendees with valuable opportunities to network with fellow producers, industry partners, and decision-makers while engaging in discussions on the policy issues most important to Indiana agriculture.

The event is made possible through the support of numerous industry partners, including the B20 Club of Indiana, whose sponsorship reflects its continued commitment to advancing biodiesel and supporting Indiana’s agricultural economy.
